Fair St. Louis 2019
Celebrate America’s birthday at one of St. Louis’ greatest traditional events. With music from country music tar Brett Young, a Salute to the Troops to honor 300-plus families and more, join thousands of festival-goers at the event held under the Gateway Arch from July 4–6.
S.L.A.M. Film Series
Go on a journey through films filled with this year’s theme: Dream Team. Celebrate 10 years of films, food and fun on historic Art Hill. Grab a bite from the row of local food trucks or bring your own and enjoy music at 6 p.m. before the film begins at 9 p.m. Bring a blanket and your appetite to take in the magic of Art Hill in Forest Park turned into an outdoor cinema.
Whitaker Music Festival
This music festival takes place every Wednesday throughout the summer featuring eclectic artists Missouri Botanical Garden as the beautiful setting. Acts this year include Tonina, Starwolf and Dave Grelle’s Playadors. Unlike other music festivals in St. Louis, this extends through the entire summer and brings in local, independent artists. You can enjoy great music and the natural beauty of the Botanical Gardens.
Festival of Nations
This is the premier international festival in the St. Louis region. Held in Tower Grove Park Aug. 24–25, come hungry to enjoy more than 40 food booths from countries around the world at Tower Grove Park from Sit and enjoy the global music to experience all of the different cultures that make up St. Louis.
The Muny
One of the most renowned outdoor theaters in the country, The Muny has a full line up of Broadway shows this year. The last nine rows of the theater are free seats at every performance, first-come-first-serve basis. Whether you want to pay for a ticket or take one of the free seats, you’ll still get to enjoy a great Broadway-quality show.
